As we will never be able to forget, this was the year (2020) of pandemic, so my botanical interests were drawn from things vey close to home. Actually that has been a gift because there is so much to see and learn right around the corner.
While walking the dog, I came across this very different view of a sunflower. I grabbed a quick photo of it and was surprised by how much I liked it. When I went back the next day, I found that my very efficient neighbor had cut down the flower and disposed of this beautiful specimen. I’m so glad I took the shot when I did. It sort of says something about 2020.
